Basic Obedience Training

Basic Obedience Training is used to help dogs who are unclear what is required in the home. Many of my clients in this category have come from challenging backgrounds, both at home or overseas. Many are rescue or ex-working animals who have not spent time indoors and have no conception of what behaviour is wanted in a home setting.

This type of work is cue-driven and helps the client to understand  canine behaviour and how to  instil boundaries in the home to  guide a dog away from unwanted behaviours towards preferred response.

Please note: all training is humane and kind.

Basic Obedience Training  is suitable for:

Dogs of any age and breed

Dogs recently rehomed

Ex-workers and breeders

Dogs who have experienced changes in the home: such as a new addition to the family, house move, change in family dynamics, being left alone,  frequent visitors to the home etc.
